Today Holly, Max, Big Jake and Little Jake, Martha & Carly (from Otautau School), Sarah & Griffin (from Riverton School) & Ella & Fiona (from Thornbury School) came together in the Activities Room at Otatutau School to meet and make some poetry. We began by introducing ourselves using the letters in POETRY - P = proud of - O = odd or outlandish - E = excited - T = top notch - R = reportoire - Y = yummy.
We listened to poetry written and read by Andrew Fusek and began to draft our own poetry based on Andrew’s work.
We were stumped by the ‘Mystery Box’ - we asked several questions to which Mrs Dee would only answer yes or no - a bit like 20 questions - but we have not identified the object inside it yet.
